Did ancient Man believe in religion?

There are symptoms and symptoms that each historical civilization believed in a better power. The historic Egyptians worshiped many gods like Anubis, Set, Osiris, Isis and Horus. Egyptian Kings, referred to as Pharaohs, have been believed to be God’s representatives on Earth. The historical Egyptians have been the first to put together the lifeless for an after-life. They buried kings and commoners with many stuff they believed might be needed withinside the after-life. The historic Mesopotamians, specifically the Sumerians, had a robust belief in numerous gods who took human form.However, they believed that those spirits had superhuman powers and in order that they could now no longer be seen. Four in their principal gods have been An, the god of heaven; Ki, the goddess of earth; Enlil, the god of air; and Enki, the god of water.
