A clone is a collection of morphologically and genetically equal individuals. In the system of asexual reproduction, best one determine is concerned and there may be no fusion of the male and the female gamete. As a result, the offsprings so produced are morphologically and genetically just like their mother and father and are thus, referred to as clones.
