Meiosis is a technique of reductional department wherein the quantity of genetic cloth is reduced. Gametogenesis is the procedure of the formation of gametes. Gametes produced through organisms are haploids (containing most effective one set of chromosomes), at the same time as the frame of an organism is diploid. Therefore, for generating haploid gametes (gametogenesis), the germ cells of an organism go through meiosis. During the technique, the meiocytes of an organism go through two successive nuclear and mobileular divisions with a unmarried cycle of DNA replication to shape the haploid gametes.
