Ashoka became an Indian Emperor of the Maurya Dynasty , who dominated nearly all the Indian subcontinent from 268 to 232 BCE.The Kalinga conflict, the sight of this kind of carnage and bloodbath of human lives, and the sufferings of the wounde made a deep influence on Ashoka's mind. The sadness of the girls and youngsters made him very unhappy and unhappy .He vowed in no way to make a battle once more in his lifestyles. He determined to commit the relaxation of his existence to the unfold of Dharma. Thus the Kalinga conflict have become a turning factor of his lifestyles.
