Mitosis ends with telophase, or the degree at which the chromosomes attain the poles. The nuclear membrane then reforms, and the chromosomes start to decondense into their interphase conformations. Telophase is accompanied through cytokinesis, or the department of the cytoplasm into daughter cells.
