option C. The Buddhism faith become a reform motion towards Hindu faith and society. Different rulers gave patronage to this faith and held councils for the unfold of this faith. Till now 6th councils had been held. In historical India, 4 councils have been held.  The First Council turned into held via way of means of the king Ajatshatru with the monk Mahaksyapa Upali in Rajagriha.  The Second Council changed into held via way of means of the king Kalashoka with Sabakami in Vaishali. The Third Council changed into held through Ashoka with monk Moggaliputta Tissa in Pataliputra The Fourth Council became held through king Kanishka with the clergymen Ashvaghosha and Vasumitra at Kundalavana in Kashmir Other councils had been held in Burma.
