What is the occurrence of two or more hereditary unit on the same chromosome called?
Genes which can be sufficiently near collectively on a chromosome will have a tendency to "stick collectively," and the versions (alleles) of these genes which might be collectively on a chromosome will have a tendency to be inherited as a couple extra frequently than not. This phenomenon is called genetic linkage.
