Punjab National Bank is an Indian Public sector bank which was first fully Indian Bank, established on 19th May 1894 by Lala Lajpat Rai. Punjab National Bank is presently headquartered in New Delhi. Note: Lala Lajpat Rai is popularly known as 'Punjab Kesari'. He was an Indian freedom fighter and founder of the Home Rule League in British India.
