Name the epics written during the later Vedic period.
The two epics composed during later Vedic period are Ramayana and Mahabharata. Ramayana was composed in the Sanskrit dialect, so as Mahabharata. The Original Ramayana was composed by the sage Valmiki and the Mahabharata was versed by the sage Vyas. Both the epics are marvellous in their own sense. The society has been greatly signified due to these two epics in terms of the understanding and concept of the stories written in the epics about chariots, love, war and other moral themes. Mahabharata and Ramayana are the epics written in late Vedic period. Which are in today’s timeline an important part of our daily routines. Both contribute to the Indian scenario of how the society thought and acted accordingly.
