Tirukkural literature is one of the sacred texts of South India written during the Sangam period. Explanation Tirukkural is the most revered work which is divided into eighteen works known as Patinenkilkanakku. It was composed by Tiruvalluvar, a Tamil poet and philosopher. It is an amalgam of Aram, Porul and Inbam or Kamam. It consists of knowledge of spiritual essence. It is written in Tamil language and talks into the pretext of morality, good deeds and secularism. It is also known as ‘divine book’. Tirukkural is the most prominent literature in Southern India. It has been inspired from three most important spiritual philosophies. It mentions the act of how to lead a fit and a nurturing life.
