The Mughal Administration was a coordinated and effective organization. The ruler was at the top of the organization. The organization was separated into different offices, constrained by the top of the division. The top of the income division was known as Diwan or Diwan-I-Ala. The obligation of Diwan was to see the payments and consumption of the State. He used to collect the income. Generally, the Diwan has relegated the post of Wazir also. The top of the Military Division was known as Mir Baksh. He used to recruit and keep up the multitude of the army. The system of revenue was the anchor of the income of the state during the reign of the Mughals. Akbar became the architect of the project which worked quite effectively.
