This system divided people into classes. From the king to the peasants, everybody was bound together by defense and obligation. The king gave away his land to the lords, who further gave it away to barons and so on. Due to this, the peasants received very less land and were treated unfairly. With this, there were very few opportunities for growth and mobility. Therefore, they extensively advocated for equal rights. People started to realize that feudalism was inherently very biased and not just. They argued that it was against equal rights and limited their growth opportunities.
