The right to freedom of religion assures that India is a secular state. Every human being has the right to practice, adopt and propagate any religion they want to. India has various religions i.e. Hinduism, Christianity, Jainism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, and many more. No one has the right to discriminate against people based on their religion. Final answer The right to freedom of religion is fundamental right that ensures that India is a secular state as it allows people to practice and propagate any religion they want to. No one has the right o force, anyone, to practice any religion, and is a punishable act as per the Indian Constitution.
