When the election for the president takes place, the members of the houses of the parliament cast their vote. They are the chosen representatives of the country, by the people. With them, even the members of the legislative assemblies’ cast their vote. In case of an election of the vice president, the members of the legislative assemblies don’t have the right to vote.
