When was slavery finally abolished in French colonies?
Slave trade refers to the act of kidnapping or the act of purchasing slaves which were majorly overseen by European traders. The slaves mainly worked on the site of mining and plantation. After the revolution, all were granted rights hence, slavery was abolished. Slavery was finally abolished in the French colonies in the year 1848.
