Which period is known as 'Reign of terror' in France?
Under the reign of Maximilian Robespierre, many executions took place. The executed were the ones who were against the revolution which included the nobles and the clergies. The limit of execution went so high as Robespierre was also executing all those people who were inside his own club if anybody dared to oppose him. Later, he himself was trapped by his own execution on the guillotine which ended the reign of terror. The period of Maximilien Robespierre's rule was called the reign of terror.
