Explanation France was undergoing tumultuous conditions which were as follows: After Louis XVI signed the constitution there was a threat to his share of powers. Louis XVI was a part of a secret negotiation with the King of Prussia. As the French Revolution was pacing, many neighboring countries made plans to send in troops. The National Assembly voted in April 1792 to declare war against Prussia and Austria before the advent of these events. This was a war of the people against kings and aristocracies across Europe. Hence, Marseillaise was sung by the volunteers from Marseillaise while they marched into Paris. The National Anthem of France is known as Marseillaise. Marseillaise was a patriotic song and as the volunteers from Marseillaise marched into Paris then the song was sung.
