How Hitler started dismantling democratic rule in Germany?
The Nazi Party adopted the ‘Leadership principle’ in preference to democracy. All political parties were banned. The Fire decree of 28 February 1933 had suspended civic rights guaranteed by the Weimar Constitution such as the freedom of speech, assembly, press. A mysterious fire had broken out in the German Parliament building in the month of February and it facilitated Hitler's move as the Chancellor.
