Can we call human evolution as adaptive radiation?
Human evolution cannot be called adaptive radiation as adaptive radiation is a steady process which gives rise to new species who have the same ancestors. The evolution of human is different from adaptive radiation as it is a slow process where several changes in the human body, the eating habits etc. have taken place. Even though our ancestors are same, these changes or modifications made the human evolution different from adaptive radiation.
