The mode of transmission of pneumonia is given hereunder:- The bacteria and viruses associated with the disease are found in the nose and throat of an infected person. The air-borne droplets are capable of transmitting the disease that are released into the air due to coughing or sneezing by a person battling with pneumonia. This disease infects the lungs and fill the air sacs of the lungs with fluid or puss making the breathing extremely difficult and painful.
