According to me, this industry has a major role in enhancing the food production especially in coastal areas. The people in coastal areas are majorly dependent on food obtained from this industry. This aquatic food is a very good source of protein and thus can be used as the basic food material for regular consumption. This makes it popular among the people in the areas where it is easily available. It can be consumed in place of food obtained from plants because of its nutrient availability. I would also consider it to be a major source of employment for millions of farmers, fishermen and unemployed people. The industry deals with a lot of tasks from fish catching to selling it in the market. Therefore, along with food enhancement it has also proven to be a good source of income for the people.
