Final Answer From the given law we can conclude that YES the object could be travelling with non-zero velocity when there is no external unbalanced force, the statement is part of the law hence it is true, but the conditions of the non-zero velocity to sustain is that there should be no acceleration hence the magnitude of the velocity as well as direction should be unchanged as acceleration will cause both of them to change.
