Yes, I agree with Soni.The acceleration of an object can be zero even if several forces are acting on it, provided the net resultant force (F) acting on the object is zero.Let, equal and opposite forces act on an object. They cancel out each other such that the net external force experienced by the object is zero.Now, put F = 0, in the force equation. ​ ​⇒0=m×a (∵m≠0) ∴a=0 ​ The zero-force makes the object to move with zero acceleration. Final answer As Soni said, the acceleration of an object could be zero even when several forces are acting on it, when the net resultant force acting on the object is zero.
