How to apply for SSC CPO exam?

The basic steps to apply for SSC CPO exams are as follows:

  • Go to the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in

  • Click on the apply link and register yourself for SSC CPO by clicking on the New Registration in the SSC CPO 2020.

  • Fill in all the details in the required fields including Mobile No., Date Of Birth, Parent’s names, etc. carefully.

  • After filling all the details carefully, click on the submit button and you will be issued a Registration ID for SSC CPO exam. 

  • Candidates are requested to login using the registration ID, Date of Birth and password to complete the registration process.

  • The next step requires the candidate to upload their Photograph and Signatures according to the dimensions prescribed by SSC.

  • The candidate then needs to login using the registered ID and password to complete the next part of the application form.

  • After filling the application carefully, the candidates are requested to have a look at the form once and do check and rectify the mistakes, if any.

  • The last step includes clicking on the final submit button and proceeds to pay the application fee for SSC CPO i.e. Rs. 100.

What is the minimum educational qualification required for the SSC SI Delhi Police & CAPF 2020 Exam?

SSC CPO 2020 salary released by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is as under:

Sub Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: This post carries a pay-scale of Level-6 (Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group “B” (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.

Sub Inspector (Executive)- (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: This post carries a pay-scale of Level-6 (Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group “C” (Non-Gazetted) by Delhi Police. 

Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) in CISF: This post carries pay scale of Level-5 (Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,30/-) and is classified as Group “C” (Non-Gazetted).

What is the expected career growth after clearing SSC CPO exam?

This job of Sub-Inspector (SI) comes with some rights and responsibilities. The main responsibility of SSC CPO is to maintain law and order in the city of which they are given the charge of.
