Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is mandated to conduct examinations for recruitment of young candidates in public sector banks. They are also mandated to conduct recruitment for Regional Rural Bank. IBPS annually conducts the examination for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks, commonly known as IBPS RRB PO and IBPS RRB Clerk exams. The section process for IBPS RRB PO consists of 3 stage process- prelims, mains, and interview.The participating banks through their nodal banks and NABARD and IBPS conduct the interview round. The recruitment process begins with the official notification. The next stage is the application process. The candidates whose application is accepted receive an online admit card for the IBPS RRB PO Preliminary Exam which is the 1 st stage of 3 stage recruitment process. The recruitment process consists of a Preliminary Stage, followed by the mains exam and interview process. The candidates have to qualify the previous stage to reach the next. The finally selected candidates after the interview round are given provisional recruitment by the IBPS.
