The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is divided into two parts: paper I and paper II. If you want to teach grades 1 through 5, you must take the UPTET paper-I. Candidates who want to teach Classes 6-8, on the other hand, must take the UPTET paper-II. Below is the full UPTET exam pattern for both papers for the year 2021.

UPTET Paper-I Exam Pattern 2021
 
The UPTET Paper-I is divided into five parts, as mentioned above. Each segment has 30 objective multiple-choice questions worth 30 points each. The total time allotted to finish the paper is 150 minutes. Candidates must take the paper as a pen-and-paper test in offline mode. Candidates should refer to the table below for more information:

Nature and Level of Questions in Paper-I Here are some key points to remember about the questions in UPTET paper-I:
 
Educational psychology and instructional approaches for students aged 6 to 11 years are the subjects of the Child Development and Pedagogy section's questions.
Language-II is a distinct dialect from language-I. Candidates may choose any one of the three languages (English, Urdu, or Sanskrit) when filling out the application form. Language-II questions concentrate on language elements, communication skills, and comprehension abilities.
The principles of these topics, problem-solving skills, and comprehension of teaching strategies are all addressed in questions in Mathematics and Environmental Studies. These subject areas' questions are evenly spread across the various parts of the subject's syllabus.

Paper-II of the UPTET is divided into four parts. Each of the first three parts has 30 questions, while the fourth section has 60. Candidates have the option of taking either Mathematics and Science or Social Studies in the fourth segment. The exam has a time limit of 150 minutes for candidates to complete it. The exam is administered using a pen-and-paper format.
