The RRB Group D recruitment process is announced by the Railway Board via Railway Group D official notification on the website. RRB Group D recruitment is conducted to choose eligible candidates for Level-I posts.

Yes, there is negative marking in RRB Group D Exam. 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for wrong answer.

What is Physical Efficiency Test in RRB Group D Exam?

Based on the merit list prepared after CBT, candidates twice the number of total vacancies will be called for Physical Efficiency Test. The details of PET are as follows:
Male Candidates Female Candidates
  • Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
  • Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
  • Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
  • Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
