Exam Schedule for SSC MTS in 2021

Salary for SSC MTS

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct a competitive examination for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff in Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20210) + Grade Pay Rs 1800 (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC: Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1), a General Central Service Group "C" Non-Gazette, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in various States/ Union Territories.

SSC MTS 2021 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SSC MTS 2021 Exam, an applicant must meet three major requirements. Let's take a look at each of these three requirements individually:

Nationality: A candidate is required to be

  • A citizen of India

  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan Refugee
  • Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

Age Limit (as of January 1, 2021):

According to the Recruitment Rules of different User Departments, the age limits for the following positions are:
  • A candidate must be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 years old on August 1, 2021. (i.e., candidates born between February 1, 1996, and January 1, 2003)
  • Between the ages of 18 and 27 as of the cut-off date (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003).
  • Candidates from reserved categories are granted age relaxation as per government rules, in addition to the above-mentioned age requirements.

Educational Qualification:

An applicant must pass Matriculation or an equivalent examination administered by a recognized State Board, University, or Institute.
