Requirements for Educational Qualifications
To be a Primary or Elementary Teacher, candidates must meet a variety of requirements. The following are the CTET Eligibility 2021 conditions for Paper 1 and Paper 2:CTET Paper I Eligibility 2021
He or she must also have completed or been in the final year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma.
OR
Applicants must have earned at least a 45 percent grade in senior high school or equivalent.
In compliance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002, he/she must have passed or been in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Aspirants must have earned at least a 50% grade in senior high school or equivalent.
Also, they must pass or appear in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program (B.El.Ed).
OR
Candidates must have earned at least a 50% grade in senior high school or equivalent.
They must also hold a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* pass certificate.
OR
A bachelor's degree in a related subject is required.
A two-year Diploma in Elementary Education certificate (by whatever name known).
CTET Paper II Eligibility 2021
Also, the applicant must have completed or been in the final year of a two-year elementary education diploma program (by whatever name is known).
OR
A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks is required.
Candidates must have completed a one-year Bachelor of Education program (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with a minimum of 45 percent in a related discipline is required.
According to the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations provided from time to time in this regard, he or she must also complete a year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Senior Secondary or equivalent.
They must either have completed or been in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program (B.El.Ed).
OR
Candidates must have earned at least a 50% grade in senior high school or equivalent.
They must either have completed or been in the final year of a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.
OR
Aspirants must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50%.
They should either have completed or be enrolled in a one-year B.Ed. (Special Education)* program.
CTET Reserved Category Eligibility
Individuals in the reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC and PwD candidates) will not be given priority. They are, however, given a 5% score reduction in the qualifying exam for the minimum educational requirement.
Aside from that, according to CBSE law, no reservation the policy is implemented in terms of work placement.
