A notice for the hiring of faculty members has been published by Punjab University, Chandigarh (PUCHD) in the Employment News (24–30 December) 2022. Out of the 53 positions available, 39 are for assistant professors, and 14 are for associate professors in various departments, institutes, and centres around the university. For the positions of assistant professor and associate professor, the final candidates chosen will get remuneration ranges of Rs. 15600-39100+ GP 6000/- and Rs. 37400-67000 + GP 9000/- (unrevised), respectively.
