Crop  production and management : Rice

 
 Rice is one of the main crops of India, it requires high temperature and sub-tropical climate and rainfall, black soil is best for this, many types of rice crops are grown in India, India is second in rice crop while China ranks first in its production.

Wheat production has increased since the Green Revolution in India, it is the most abundant product for us, its production is highest in Punjab, Haryana region, it requires moderate temperature and less rainfall.
