APPSC AE Syllabus 2022: For Paper 1, 2 & 3

The APPSC AE syllabus 2022 is released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) for the post of Assistant Engineer (AE) in various departments of APPSC. To be able to get shortlisted for the APPSC AE exam, it is crucial to have a thorough knowledge of the APPSC AEE syllabus & exam pattern in detail. The APPSC AE syllabus pdf comprises of 3 branches of engineering: Civil/Mechanical/Environmental.

The APPSC AE Exam will be for 300 marks in total for 3 papers. However, paper 3 of the APPSC AE exam will only be for the candidates who have applied for AE (ENV), i.e.

APPSC AE Syllabus 2022: Subject Wise 

The APPSC AE Syllabus for the 3 engineering branches for all the 3 papers has been given here in detail. Below you can find the syllabus for each paper of the APPSC AE exam 2022. 

• Paper 1: It will have General Studies & Mental Ability questions. This paper will be common to all the candidates. This will be of 150 marks. 
• Paper 2: Paper 2 of APPSC AE written exam is Civil/ Mechanical (Common) of 150 marks. This is of Diploma Standard. This will be of 150 marks.  
• Paper 3: The APPSC AE PAper 3 will be Environmental Engineering/ Civil Engineering paper which is only for Post Code 3, i.e. candidates who will apply for  PH & ME Sub-ordinate Service ENV discipline. All the questions for Paper 3 will be degree-based papers. This will be of 150 marks.
