Bihar STET Selection Process 2022: Writtern Exam, Passing Marks, Certificate

BSTET is an abbreviation for Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (BSTET). Every year, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) holds this Examination. The board is also in charge of departmental examinations such as the Certificate in Physical Education. The BSEB also administers the Diploma in Physical Education, Simultaltala Residential Entrance Examinations, and the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). Aside from this, the board oversees annual board re-examinations for secondary and senior secondary students. It is a re-examination for teachers in Classes 9, 10, 11, and 12. Secondary and Higher Secondary classes are taught by these teachers. BSTET holds two papers to recruit these teachers at two different levels. Bihar STET Selection Process

The Bihar STET Selection Process is as follows:

• Online Application- Apply online for the Bihar STET by following the steps above
• Bihar STET written examination- Appear for the written examination, for both the levels, secondary and higher secondary. Paper I is conducted for the secondary level and paper II is conducted for the higher secondary level. 
• Document verification- It is done to check the authenticity of the educational qualification and the proof submitted by the candidate while applying for this examination.

Bihar STET Exam Pattern 2022

After you are aware of the selection process, the candidates must know the Bihar STET Exam pattern 2022. The candidates who want to be a teacher for the students of class 9th and 10th will have to appear for the Paper-I exam, and those who are applying to be a teacher for the students of class 11th and 12th then will appear for the Paper-II exam. 

Paper- I Secondary (Class 9-10)

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of the written exam only.
• There won’t be any negative marking for incorrect or un-attempted answers. 
• Each question will be of 1 mark and the total number of questions will be 150 making the total marks of 150.

Paper- II Senior Secondary (Class 11-12)

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of the written exam only.
• There won’t be any negative marking for incorrect or unattempted answers. 
• Each question will be of 1 mark and the total number of questions will be 150. 
• The marking scheme for both Paper-I and Paper-II will be the same.

Calculation of Marks for Paper-I Secondary (Class 9-10) and Paper-II Senior Secondary (Class 11-12)

After the release of the answer key, candidates can calculate their marks for both Paper-I Secondary (Class 9-10) and Paper-II Senior Secondary (Class 11-12).

• Both Paper-I for Secondary teachers (Class 9-10) and Paper-II for Senior Secondary teachers (Class 11-12) will have 150 questions where each question will be of 1 mark.
• There will be no negative marking for any incorrect or un-attempted answer.

Steps to calculate your Bihar STET 2022 marks

• Count the number of questions answered correctly.
• There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. 
• The number of correct answers will be the marks secured by the candidates.

Do we have to go through a Physical Eligibility test for Bihar STET 2022?

No, the physical eligibility test is not for all the candidates for Bihar STET 2022. It will only be for those candidates who are applying for the Health and Physical Instructor.
