Deepika Padukone and Akshay Kumar win the best actor awards at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Awards 2021, while the late Sushant Singh Rajput receives the 'Critic's Best Actor trophy.
On February 20, 2021, the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021 were announced, honoring the best in television, film, and music. The OTT category was added to this year's awards because of the platform's growing success and abundance of talent.

The diverse list of winners included well-known names such as Deepika Padukone, Sushmita Sen, and Akshay Kumar, as well as newcomers to the film industry like Radhika Madan. For his performance in the recent release "Dil Bechara," late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was awarded the "Critics Best Actor" award.

The Government of India created the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards in 1969 to honor the Founder of the Indian Cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke. The award honors the achievements and creativity of India's film industry, which is the world's third-largest and renowned for its larger-than-life films and fandoms.

 The Dadasaheb Phalke Awards also recognized all of the world's most well-known film personalities for their excellent contributions to the industry.
