The candidates who wish to apply for the RPSC RAS exam should be well versed with the RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria beforehand. As per the official notification the candidates have to qualify for each eligibility criteria as mentioned. The candidate must be between the age limit of 21-35 years and must have completed his Graduation from a recognized university to apply for the post of RPSC RAS.

RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria

The candidates can check out the basic eligibility criteria for the upcoming RPSC RAS in the space below:

Nationality

  • The candidates must be a citizen of India or
  • Candidates belonging to other states can also apply for the RPSC RAS.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age limit to apply for the RPSC RAS is 21 years and the maximum is 35. 
  • Age relaxation for 5 years is applicable for the male candidates who belong to the ST/ST category possessing Rajasthan Domicile whereas 10 years of age relaxation is provided to the female candidates.
  • Candidates who seek age relaxation can be asked to provide the necessary certificates at any stage of the recruitment process. 

Educational Qualification

The candidates must have a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree recognized by the Government to apply for the post of RPSC RAS.

Domicile

The candidates have to be a permanent domicile of the state from where they are applying or should be well versed with the official language of the state. 

RPSC RAS Exam Pattern

The candidates will have to clear all the phases of examination i.e. preliminary, mains and interview round to secure a seat in the RPSC RAS. 

Preliminary Exam

  • The examination will have questions in the form of objective questions.
  • There will be a composite duration of 180 minutes to complete the test.
  • As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.33 marks for the wrong answer.

  • The candidates will have to work hard in order to secure a seat in the RPSC RAS examination. The candidates are required to thus start with clearing the basics of each chapter.
