RPSC Lecturer Eligibility - Nationality 

As per the official notification, a candidate must be.
  • A Citizen of India 
  • A Subject of Nepal 
  • A Subject of Bhutan 
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India 
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
 

RPSC Lecturer Eligibility - Age Limit 

The age limit for the exam is 21 to 40 years for the general category.  The details on category-wise relaxation in age limit are mentioned below. The official notification says"A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years " .

Educational qualification is the most important criterion for the exam. Following is the educational qualification that the candidates must possess to apply for the post.

Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC with Zoology/Botany/Micro Biology/Bio-Technology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level with Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.

Commerce

Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Commerce with B.Com. OR Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Commerce, having at least two teaching subjects for Higher Secondary classes as prescribed by the Board for Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer for Commerce group. (ii) Degree or Diploma in education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.

Music

Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Music or the qualification declared equivalent thereto by the Government.

Drawing

Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Drawing or the qualification declared equivalent thereto by the Government. OR Diploma of five years’ duration in Arts of any school/college of Arts recognized by the Government.

Agriculture

Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Agriculture in either Agronomy/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry with Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.
