TNPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022
TNPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern
There are three stages in TNPSC Group 1 Exam- prelims, mains and interview.- Preliminary Exam: A total of 200 questions are asked and the duration of the exam is 3 hours. The total marks are 300. There are 175 questions from General Knowledge, and 25 questions from Mental Ability and Aptitude. Each correct answer is awarded 1.5 marks. There is no negative marking.
- Mains Exam: This is a descriptive exam which comprises 2 papers. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The main exam consists of 3 General Studies papers. Each is 250 marks. No negative marking will be there.
- Interview: Qualified candidates will receive a call for a personal interview. It will be an oral test of 100 marks.
