TSPSC FSO Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for TSPSC FSO Exam is set under the following parameters:
  • Nationality
  • Age Limit
  • Educational Qualification

The details regarding each of these parameters are as given below.

TSPSC FSO Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for TSPSC FSO Exam.

TSPSC FSO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18 to 44 years of age to be eligible for TSPSC FSO Exam. There is relaxation in age limit provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The details of age relaxation are as follows:

Category of the candidate

Relaxation of age

Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months. 

3 years

Telangana State Government Employees (Employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible). 

5 Years based on the length of regular service. 

Ex-Servicemen

3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces

N.C.C.(who have worked as an Instructor in N.C.C.) 

3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C.

SC/ST and BCs 

5 years
 

TSPSC FSO Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

Candidates must have one of the following degrees to be eligible for TSPSC FSO Exam:
A degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University; OR Any other equivalent / recognized qualification
 

 

TSPSC FSO Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts

There is no limit on the number of attempts for TSPSC FSO Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they wish provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
