Eligibility Criteria for JEE Mains:
To be eligible for IIT JEE Mains, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.
Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Candidates appearing for their 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply.
Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least 75% marks in their 10+2 examination or be in the top 20 percentile in their respective boards.
However, for SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks required are 65%.
