A beast of prey sometimes called a glutton - what is it ?
A glutton is just something or someone that is excessively greedy, meaning eating more than necessary. But predators often gorge when they eat, because other animals may take their kill away from them. And they may not catch another prey to eat for days, so sometimes they try to cover up their kill or hide it, or put it where it isn’t easy to steal, like a leopard who drags its prey way up in a tree and out on limbs to eat and store for later. But, of course, it it falls down, hyenas and lions are there to get it. Lions will climb trees but their weight prohibits them from going out on smaller limbs where the leopard has its catch
