1761 : पानीपत का तीसरा युद्ध, सुबह 9 बजे से शाम 4 बजे तक चली लड़ाई भारत की अस्मिता की रक्षा के लिए लड़ा गया। ... यह युद्ध 14 जनवरी 1761 को अफगान लुटेरे अहमदशाह अब्दाली की फौज और सदाशिव राव भाऊ के नेतृत्व में मराठों के बीच लड़ा गया। इस युद्ध में लाखों मराठे खेत रहे और अहमद शाह अब्दाली विजेता बनकर उभरा।
