SBI clerk or officially known as SBI Junior Associate Exam is conducted annually by SBI. In order to recruit dynamic and young individuals in junior-level associate posts. There are approximately 5000 vacancies as per the official notification. Already as per some estimates, 18.5 lack candidates have appeared for the examination. The exam comprises of prelims and mains exam. The selection of candidates is done state-wise. A candidate can apply for one state only, and there is no interstate movement of junior associates. The selected candidates are employed as cashiers or customer support staff in various branches.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam

Those who qualify for the prelims exam. Are made to appear for the mains exam. The pattern for the mains exam is as follows:

  1. A total of 190 questions are asked.
  2. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 40 minutes.
  3. The maximum number of marks possible is 200.
  4.  1/4th of the mark assigned to the question will be deducted in case the answer is wrong.
