Analysis of mock test papers is very essential for improving your score in the mocks and to give your best shot in the actual CLAT 2021 exam. Now let’s start discussing the above questions from the scratch.

1. Are your mocks upto the mark? What are quality mocks? Which kind of mocks are supposed to be solved?
First and the foremost thing are to give quality mock tests. Give mocks which are exclusively designed for law entrances. If you analyse the paper pattern, syllabus given by the CLAT Consortium, you may find that the mocks you are giving are not useful for your CLAT preparation; those kinds of questions can never be asked and not up to the mark! And you fight increasing your scores in mocks which are never meant to be practiced for CLAT and AILET.
Understand this. This is a serious issue which a lot of law aspirants do not even realise. Either they take everything casually or they are totally dependent on coaching’s which have already thousands of students like you and in this crowd of thousands you may lag behind to get a proper mentorship; Remember you are different; you are required to brush up on your strong areas; you are suppose to improve upon your weak areas in a method suitable to only you.

2. When to analyse mocks? What to analyse in mocks?
You can give weekends for revision of whatever you studied in that week, or in that month and along with that analyse all the mocks that you gave in that week.
First, know your score, whether it’s increased from the previous mocks you attempted? Whether your score is reduced from the previous ones? Whether your score has become stagnant? Now, analyse each section, which type of questions are you continuously attempting wrong? These are the areas that you need to work upon; understand the theory of it first and then solve some 100-200 questions (without and then with timer). Try to revise only those questions which you have attempted wrong afterwards as well.

4. How to analyse mocks section-wise?
Go through each section. For English section of CLAT, practice a lot of RCs. Daily solve 5 RCs. We have already given 1000 RCs on our telegram channel. You can access them on telegram.
In current affairs section, revise all the questions in future as well (esp. those which you attempted incorrect) – this makes a question bank for you. Apart Acing CLAT’s current affairs compendium (1000+ questions) is a boon for aspirants who want to top this exam, as it is compilation of all the important current affairs in a MCQ format (just as CLAT paper format).
In Legal Reasoning, again just like you will mark and revise the incorrect questions in GK and Current affairs, here you should do the same. Also, revise all the legal updates of 2020-21, that also you will get from Acing CLAT’s Legal Reasoning Compendium (500+ questions).
In Logical Reasoning, try to solve again the question you attempted incorrectly. Still if you attempt it wrong, go to the theory of the topic, brush up your basics, and solve few questions of that topic along with the questions that you attempted incorrectly in the mock. Same should be done in Quantitative Techniques.
Try to revise all the incorrect questions before you give the next mock. Mock tests do not require a special preparation; just revise the previous mocks (whatever questions you attempted wrong). That’s it.
Improve your weak areas by analysing them in mocks. Sometimes we feel like we are good in a certain topic, but we actually come to know of our strengths and weaknesses when we attempt mocks all within the time limit; in an environment of actual test centre. So, be serious and attempt the mocks as if you are giving the actual CLAT exam.
Brush up your strengths as well. But improve upon your weak areas firstly. So, give more time to weak areas and give less time to strong areas. But revise all weak and both areas from time to time.
5. How many mocks should we solve?
If you start solving the mocks now, two months are in your hand which is enough for preparation of this exam. Solve 40-50 mocks with analysis. At present, try to solve a mock daily and analyse it as well on the same day. But the condition is that the mocks should not be random, irrelevant to the CLAT exam paper pattern and format. So, choose wisely your mocks. Be careful of what kind of mocks you are solving, whether your mocks are increasing or evolving with the level of exams (difficult, easy, and moderate) or you are just giving it for the sake of it.
