Selection Process
A written portion of the AFCAT will be followed by three rounds of testing: the Officers Intelligence Rating Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test, Psychological Test, and Group Tests/Interviews.Educational Qualification
NCC Special Entry
Obtaining an NCC Air Wing Senior Division "C" certificate on or after December 1, 2017.
At least 60% in math and physics at the 10+2 level.

Ground Duty Non Technical
- Administration: 12th grade and graduation with a minimum grade point average of 60% or equivalent, or passing scores in sections A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India from an accredited university.
- Education - 12th and Post-Graduation with 50% in any discipline, including integrated courses enabling lateral access and single degrees without exit, and with 60% in Graduation in any discipline.
- Logistics - Graduate in any field with at least a 60% grade point average or an equivalent, or passed the section A and B examination for Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with at least a 60% grade point average or an equivalent.
12th grade with a minimum of 60% overall and 50% in math and physics, and a degree in any field from an accredited university. OR a BE/B Tech degree with at least 60% overall or an equivalent grade. OR Candidates who have passed the Sections A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with at least 60% marks or an equivalent score.

Physical Eligibility
To be able to take the examinations at AFSB, candidates are encouraged to be in good physical condition when called by SSB. You should strive to be able to complete 10 pushups, 3 chinups, and 1 mile (1.6 km) in 10 minutes.Significant Dates
- AFCAT application forms will be accepted beginning on December 1, 2022, at 11 AM.
- The deadline to submit an AFCAT application is December 30, 2022, at 5:00 PM.
Age Limit
- Flying Branch (20–24 years old)
- Technical or non-technical ground duty 20 to 26 years for branches
