CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has released the Date Sheet for the Class 10th, 12th Term 2 board exam. The date sheet has been released on the official website i.e. cbse.gov.in. Candidates can check the exam schedule on the website or below in this article. Moreover, the examination for CBSE term 2 has been scheduled from April 26 to June 15, 2022.

This year board decided to conduct the CBSE exams in 2 terms i.e. term 1 and term 2. This was because all the schools were closed during the pandemic which led to learning loss. Hence, the board has given more gaps between the examinations so that students can get more time to prepare. Below is the direct link to download the official date sheet for CBSE Term 2 examination for classes 10th and 12th:
 

KEY HIGHLIGHTS-

• In term-2 exams, students will answer both objective and subjective type questions.
• The term-1 papers only had objective or multiple-choice type questions.
• The board will follow the pattern of sample question papers for the exam.
• Sample papers were released last month on the CBSE academic website.
• The detailed date sheet will be released soon on cbse.nic.in, it added.
• For the first time, the central education board is conducting Class 10 and Class 12 final exams in two terms. This has been done in view of the current Covid situation in the country.
• Last year, during the second wave of Covid, the board could not conduct exams and had to come up with an alternative assessment scheme to prepare results.

The board recently warned students against fake notices regarding term 1 result date and misinformation about term 2 exams. In the term-2 exam notification, CBSE reiterated that any exam-related information on social media should be taken into account after verifying it on the official website.

For the candidates' information, CBSE has yet to issue any notice regarding when the exams will be held or when the results for Term 1 will be issued. The tests are slated for March-April 2022, according to insiders, and the date sheet could be revealed in the first week of February. This means that the data sheets will be in the hands of the pupils by the following week. However, this is only a guess. One thing that is sure is that CBSE Board Exams for Class 10th and 12th would not be canceled now that the Covid 19 Omicron situation is under control as per the Government. CBSE plans to conduct the exams after March 15, 2022, as per the sources, keeping in mind the pandemic situation in the country. The Board is likely to conduct the major exams first and then the minor subject exams so that minimum damage to the results of the students happens in case the pandemic situation rises.
