Educational Background

Assistant Professor: A Master's degree from an Indian institution in the relevant or related topic with a minimum of 55% overall (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is used), or an equivalent degree from an approved international university.

Pay Ranges

• Academic level 14 professor or librarian; starting salary is Rs. 1,44,200. (Pre-revised scale of pay : Rs.37,400-67,000 with AGP-10,000)
• Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A; Rs. 1,31,400 for entry-level compensation (Pre-revised scale of pay : Rs.37,400-67,000 with AGP-9,000)
• Academic level 10 assistant professor/assistant librarian with a rationalised entrance pay of Rs.
