The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, or BSEAP, is another name for the Directorate of Government Examinations in Andhra Pradesh.
It has been independent of its parent organisation, the Andhra Pradesh Department of Education, since its foundation in 1953.
The state board of Andhra Pradesh oversees and controls the secondary education curriculum.
In addition to developing lesson plans and curriculum, grading exams, and accrediting higher education institutions, it also provides direction, support, and leadership to all secondary educational institutions that fall under its authority.
The AP Board is responsible for organising and completing a number of responsibilities, including developing study curricula, suggesting syllabi, holding tests, delivering final results, and affiliating educational institutions. The Secondary Education Board, a separate organisation operating within the APBE, is entirely in charge of the distribution of SSC results and the testing process.
The SSC and OSSC Public Examinations, as well as a variety of other smaller tests that cover the required legislation and qualifications, can all be delivered by this company, which is authorised to do so (twice a year). The autonomous department's head office is in Vijayawada, and it also has additional regional offices throughout the state where it does business.
In the state of Andhra Pradesh, the board is in charge of secondary education.
The AP SSC or Class 10 board exams are administered in state-affiliated institutions by the BSEAP.
