CISF ASI Stenographer 2022 : Eligibility criteria
1. Nationality/Citizenship
To apply for the positions of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable, candidates must be Indian citizens (Ministerial).
2.Educational Requirements
Candidates must have completed an Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognised Board, University, or equivalent by the closing date of receipt of the Online Application Form.3.Age Limit
To apply for these positions, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 25 as of the closing date for receipt of the Online Application form (i.e.25.10.2022).
Candidates must have been born between October 26, 1997 and October 25, 2004.

To be eligible for upper age relaxation in this category, the applicant must present a certificate from the District Collector/District Magistrate in the district where the victim was killed. |

Ex-Servicemen |
3 years after deducting military service from real age on the date of reckoning, i.e. the closing date of receipt of the Online Application Form. Age concession will be granted in accordance with the orders issued by the Government from time to time, and they will be allowed to deduct the period of actual military service from his actual age as of 25.10.2022, and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post for which he is seeking appointment by more than three years, he will be deemed to satisfy the age limit condition. |

Constable (GD), Head Constable (GD), Head Constable/Ministerial (Only for the job of ASI/Steno), and Constable (Tradesman) having five years' regular service in each grade as of 25.10.2022 and possessing the qualification stipulated for direct recruits under Para 5 (5.1). |

4.Other essential requirements
For Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer)- Dictation:-10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
- Transcription time- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on the computer.
