SSC CHSL is one of the most competitive exams in the country. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit eligible and interested candidates for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). In the prelims of SSC CHSL Exam a total of 25 questions are asked from Quantitative Aptitude which a candidate has to solve within the total 1 hour alloted for the entire exam and in the mains exam, a total of 100 questions are asked which must be solved within the total 2 hours alloted for the entire exam . The topics from which question are asked in Quantitative Aptitude are as follows:

  • Basic Algebric Identities of School Algebra & Elementary Surds

Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts:
  • Triangle and its various kinds of centres
  • Congruence and similarity of triangles
  • Circle and its chords
  • Tangents
  • Angles subtended by chords of a circle
  • Common tangents to two or more circles.

Mensuration:
  • Triangle

How To Prepare Quantitative Aptitude for SSC CHSL Exam:

 Analyse Previous Year Papers:

Go through the previous year papers and analyze the number of questions asked from different topics and note it all down.

Start Early & Chart Out A Plan:
