LIC Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2022
Nationality: A applicant must be an Indian citizen.
LIC Assistant Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution or institute is required.
Age Requirements for LIC Assistant: The candidate's age must be between 18 and 30 years old.
Age Relaxation:
Relaxations in the upper age limit for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Community (OBC), Ex-Servicemen, People with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Confirmed LIC workers are as follows:

Selection Procedure for LIC Assistants in 2022
The Preliminary Examination (Phase I) and Main Examination (Phase II), followed by the Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination, will be used to recruit LIC Assistants.
Only marks received in the Main Examination will be used to determine applicant merit (Final Selection).

LIC Assistant 2022 will be held in two stages: prelims and mains, with the whole exam format detailed below-
Preliminary Exam for LIC Assistant
The Written Exam will be divided into three sections: Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. The written test will last 1 hour and 60 minutes in total. If a contestant answers a question incorrectly, 0.25 points will be deducted. The preliminary examination, which will comprise of objective examinations, will be held online. The exam will be divided into three sections (each with a separate timing), as follows:

• There will be negative marks for incorrect answers in the main examination Objective exams. For each incorrect response, 1/4 points will be deducted.
• Preliminary Examination (Phase I) marks will not be included to the selection, and the ultimate selection will be based on a candidate's performance in the Main Examination (Phase II).
